LIVING SAND DOLLAR!

I have lived on this beach for about 6 years now and never have seen sand dollars up on the sand.  EVER.  Today I went for a walkabout and saw several.  Most were white and still, but this guy... was cruisin' and making pretty patterns.  So... NEW TO ME :)

THAT TIME WHEN I WAS IN A MAJOR VISUAL EFFECTS SCHOOL PUBLICATION AND DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL I SAW IT ONLINE.

So Nice of them to take the photo when I was running my tongue over my teeth to make sure there was no bread on there from the Subway sandwich lunch.  Glamorous.

What I do when I have a migraine since last night.

He's not THAT perfect.  Ok maybe he is... but like me he would laugh if he saw this. :)

Day 11: Something Old

Something Old.  

 I have owned this since the fifth grade.  One of the better days of my life, winning a thing randomly when I needed it.  It came in a huge box of art supplies.  I used all the other ones, and this is what's left.  Best set of watercolors I have ever had.  They were something called "Lion."  I cannot find the brand anywhere now a days. 

 I encourage parents and teachers to give these art sets as prizes for being good, or for a great report card or whatever.  Even though they sell them at Christmas, they are good year round as presents. 

  I am 35 now, and it remains a very happy place for me to use these paints.   I have painted over a million things with them.  They never seem to "use up."  Divine intervention I believe.

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time

There was a time a few months ago I only ate Peanut Butter and Jelly for a week for every meal.  Teddy No Sugar or Salt Added Natural Peanut Butter, and bad for you full of sugar black raspberry jelly.  I wanted to feel like I was eating the wild black raspberries that grew in my parents yard when I was growing up, loved them, sought them out like they were diamonds growing on bushes, adventured farther and farther into the surrounding woods to find more even.  Not without flipping over a few logs and rocks looking for Salamanders on the way.

And Stale Market basket multi grain bread.  You know the kind.  The one that has a bag of plastic tight around the bread, and then it is inside another regular bread bag.  Pepperidge Farm does this too.  it's never fresh, it always tastes stale.  It's totally gross... why do I buy this?  Now that I'm writing about it, I'm never buying this kind of bread again!  Blech!
